How do I find art exhibitions near me?

Im looking for art exhibitions to participate in but I dont know where to look! Any will do, but those that are preferably juried.

2. The arts section of the newspapers or the entertainment section will have a list of galleries. Galleries will host shows and will know of ones coming up, even at other venues. Sometimes a local festival will hold a juried show in conjunction with their festivities, at least they do here. Other options are historical societies and local colleges and universities, some allow non-students to enter.
3. Contact your local Newspaper .or Library clerk,or County Office Senior Center.
